I've seen the Illithid one before, but not the others. I want Bigby's.

Why do games have to have soft drink tie ins? Remember the Halo flavored soda?

Are the games not good enough by themselves?

Does soda, on it's own merit, not have enough deliciousness to be considered a successful product unless it is piggybacking some pop culture phenomena?

They aren't selling a game or a soft drink. They're selling a clique.

"Well I'm a DnD guy, which means I drink Jones Soda."

"Well I'm a Halo guy, which means I drink Gamerfuel."

"Well I'm a thinking, reasoning individual who can evaluate separate bits of my life with out buying into mass tie in marketing."

You know how the neck of the soda is kinda long, and you suck on it a little to get the juice out? Imagine it's a corporate dick.

The moral is: Buy Jones soda or don't. Play DnD or don't. I don't care. Just don't buy into ridiculous bullshit designed to separate idiots from their money.

...

...

Oh, wait. They have a rogue flavored one. Never mind. *glug glug glug*

Sure it's a money grab. But you know, if you drop the whole clique story it might just be funny.

Like a frowning clown, it was once funny but is now very sad.

Someone once put it to me like this: "Would you rather be poor and right, or wrong and rich?"

They should put pictures of hot chicks on the labels. I'd drink to that.

This is equal parts sad and hilarious.

Fix'd.
