I believe I am actually pretty much ready to start the game, really. Sure, the world might need a bit of work, but nothing that I couldn't include later on. In fact, the only aspect I would like to ask about is: How important are maps for you people? If they feel vital, I could just finish the one I am currently working on and perhaps cobble something together for the first town the PCs are at.

The world creation was and is primary because I like to let the players work in a 'wide open sandbox' sort of deal. Yes, there will be quest hooks aplenty, some of which might be hazardous not to accept (such as being drafted to act as special forces for the nation's army), but most are optional and the players have the say in what they choose to do.

This system is deadly for characters, player and otherwise. A famous veteran might still be killed by a green recruit who gets lucky, but the chances of that are in the vicinity of 10000 to one. When you uncover secret enemy force substantially larger than your team camping close to your side's trade route, it's typically better to alert the army before heading in, as to have some support.

No half-orcs available. The system is an updated version on the one used in that Atlantis-game you were part of. The setting is rather unique, de- and reconstructing several classic fantasy tropes and averting most of the rest. The closest thing to orcs in this setting is barely sentient and unplayable, however. Also, sexually incompatible with humans.

You might take a look at what's written down already.

The players will be working for the human nation of Klata. This means that most of them will be Asterovi humans and born in Klata, or so I expect and will at least somewhat enforce. A particularly good roleplayer might be allowed to play a Harekram (or dwarf, as most of the Asterovi call them) or Perdain, but both races are strongly prejudiced against.
